About Hypnosis

What Hypnosis Is

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation, heightened concentration, and focused awareness.

While in this state, you are more open to suggestions to making positive changes in your perceptions, sensations, emotions, memories, thoughts, or behaviors. It’s important to know that hypnosis is a willing state. The person most likely to benefit is the person who’s motivated to overcome issues and is open to the collaborative process.

Hypnosis has been accepted by the American Medical Association since 1958, with decades of data and new research supporting its effectiveness.

Why it Works

When working with a hypnosis professional, you are working with the subconscious mind. The subconscious is the "operating system" of the mind. Every day there are those few things we decide to do, and everything else is just a subconscious pattern-based response. Therapeutic hypnosis allows you to access the part of your mind that holds the responses and make changes there.

Hypnosis can be used to overcome harmful habits, limiting beliefs, anxiety, fears and phobias, as well as improve athletic performance and self-confidence and much, much more.
